Bed and Breakfast Homestay in Dornoch

WiFi available

Kate welcomes you warmly to her home, a grade ‘C’ listed building located a few doors down from all the amenities of town; restaurants, shops, the old jail and famous Cathedral.

If you stay with me the local countryside of Sutherland has much to offer.  In addition to the world class golf courses we have many clean and safe beaches, hill and coastal walks and magnificent bird watching all year round.   My B&B provides the perfect base for Dornoch’s excellent range of facilities, with good local shops, restaurants, pubs and hotels offering fine local food.

Golf is a major activity locally, centred on the world famous Royal Dornoch Golf Course and the Struie Course both within a short walk from the B&B. These courses and many others in the area are all well maintained, with significant and fascinating histories. But there is much more to do from your Dornoch B&B. Our local hills and glens are grazed by deer and osprey can be seen fishing in the lochs. A keen eye might spot an eagle over the hinterland.

Pippin, Kate’s young Cavalier King Charles Spaniel may give you a vocal welcome but will soon snuggle back his basket, most disappointed not to show you to your room.
